★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a second hand bike 3 months ago, not having a very big budget and not knowing much about it, I just asked them if the bikes were safe and well serviced. The seller then replied that everything had been overhauled and the bike had new brakes and tires. I came back while it was still under warranty because it was making funny noises and the speeds were jumping. An employee watched the bike go around and assured me that everything was perfectly normal and that I just had to wait a bit before shifting gears. Still finding the bike unsafe I went to my usual bike repairer who confirmed that the front wheel bearings were out of order and that the brakes had to be changed and other things. .. For a supposedly refurbished bike sold for 120 € after negotiation because the price of 160 € seemed exaggerated to me ... I will have for a hundred euros of repair. What a lack of honesty!
