★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is aging, so you can see some wear and tear. It's definitely not bad, but I've seen better. The rooms are clean. Friendly staff. The swimming pool is alright.
The restaurant is a bit to pretentious, prices are a bit too steep for the average quality of the food and the small portions.
I come here on a regular basis for business in the neighborhood and my company has a deal with this hotel. So I've seen quite a few rooms.

The location is very close to the beautiful lake which you can swim or spend some nice time with family watching by sailers and boat riding. The restaurant staff were very friendly and can speak English. Highly recommended from my side

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite an old hotel. You can tell it hasn’t received much care or any upgrades the last years. However, still very comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. Also has a very nice terrace and the bus station is right in front which brings you directly to Groningen Centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here for high tea on a weekday and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Presentation and service were wonderful, though the dessert looked better than it tasted. The homemade items, especially the baked goods, were the highlight. We were also able to get the fixed menu with no meat. I'd say it's overpriced by €5 per person but we had a very good discount through local supermarket coupons and were very happy with what we paid. We'll go back as a nice treat someday... if we can get those coupons again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did not stayed in the hotel, but as an Instructor for a course - Location great, nice bright rooms, quiet, very nice garden around and the service - breakfast and lekker broetje - was excellent - thank you looking forward to be here again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not that great. Rooms could really use an update, worn out and stained furniture, mould in the bathroom.
Evening meal took ages, not quite sure why the kitchen were so slow - we opted for the hotel restaurant to save time and turns out we’d have eaten faster if we drove to Groningen center and ate there.
All other facilities seemed to be fine, swimming pool is quite big and clean and the staff were really lovely.
