Een mooi stukje natuur dicht bij Amsterdam. Paviljoen Puur ligt in Diemen en is de perfecte locatie voor jullie bruiloft, een feest of verjaardag, zakelijk vergaderen, zondagse lunch en nog veel meer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was one of the Forts built by The City of Amsterdam as a perimeter defense for the city. Most of these forts are not accessible as they are no longer open, they are more like a ruin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Previously part of Stelling van Amsterdam, Fort Diemerdam used to be a "kustbatterij", a defensive fort with a bigass cannon. Today it's just a bunch of old bunkers, no cannon, but you can still see the structure, the rail used to push around ammo, and the place of the cannon. Not the most interesting historical venue, but nice if you are cycling by. If you come here on Sunday, you can also have a nice lunch at Paviljonen Puur, which is right next to the Fort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and good service. Perfect location to take a small break from biking or walking or for a relaxing lunch or diner on Sunday. The rest of the week they rent the place out for business or weddings and so. Looks like a fine place for it!
