★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hir lohnt ein Besuch allemal. Teilweise bedrückende Aufbauen aus Kriegsgeschehnissen. Aber auch das Aquarium, dass sich dort befindet, ist sein Geld wert.
 Hir is definitely worth a visit. Partly depressing buildups from wartime events. But even the aquarium that is there is worth the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein schönes Ausflugsziel an regnerischen Tagen gerade mit kleinen Kindern. Das Aquarium ist super gepflegt, man kann kleine Haie und Rochen füttern (Muscheln und Garnelen, die man dort kaufen kann), durch eine große Aquariumröhre gehen und Fische sind um sich herum schwimmen erleben. Der Eintritt lohnt allein schon für das Aquarium (daher ein günstiges und tolles Ausflugsziel). Schade ist jedoch, dass im Museum nur wenige Tafeln und Berichte auf englisch sind. Das meiste ist auf niederländisch. Daher ein Stern Abzug.
Fazit: tolles Ausflugsziel wenn es mit dem Wetter mal nicht so toll ist.
A nice destination on rainy days especially with small children. The aquarium is well maintained, you can feed small sharks and rays (shells and shrimp that you can buy there), go through a large aquarium tube and fish are swimming around them. The entrance alone is worthwhile for the aquarium (therefore a cheap and great destination). It is a pity, however, that in the museum only a few panels and reports are in English. Most of it is in Dutch. Hence a star deduction.
Conclusion: great destination if it is not so great with the weather.

Great views and a little bit of history.
Visited the site with my aunts and uncles.
It was enjoyable, and because we were visiting other sites in the area, it was worth the stop.
Not sure if you would want to come to this fort if this were the only thing you wanted to visit in the area.
