For example there are historical ships, museums, restaurants, bars and a cinema.
There is also a lot of free parking space if you want to visit Texel or the city of Den Helder for a day (max hours for parking).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent.lots to see and do.maritime museum is all of the docks with exhibits spread all around,plus if you have a camper van I paid €13 with out electric on my own toilets are clean,showers are good you can get fresh drinking water and get rid of grey water and waste.9

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a business trip but the docks and locations around them managed to surprise me. Lots of nice restaurants and bars, museums and most of all, many beautiful sailing boats and ships. Shame the weather was so poor. Den Helder is well worth the visit.
