β β β β β I was interested in a beautiful piece of head jewellery I saw in the window, and took a picture. The owner immediately came outside, enraged. Same story as the other reviewer! I wish she would have invited me inside instead to look at the other pieces, as I was genuinely interested. Not a good way to treat customers!

β β β β β I took two photographs in this store for my research. The owners immediately became enraged. They accused me of only being concerned with my ego, told me I was uncivilized, and that I needed to take my medication. While the proprietor was verbally abusing me, the proprietress kept repeating, "They're all the same," in an angry, disgusted tone. Apparently they abuse their customers frequently. I tried apologizing, and explained that I didn't have any ill intentions, but the owners continued their verbal abuse. When I attempted to leave the store, I was grabbed by the arm. They locked me in the store until I deleted the two photographs I had taken. I didn't know how to delete the photographs, so it took some time. All I wanted to do is leave. I regret ever stepping foot in their shop. I was very shaken by this experience, and considered filing an official complaint with the police, but my husband told me (by phone) not to waste my valuable time. If they're so vehemently against customers taking photographs, they should at least put a "no cameras" sign in the door to warn unsuspecting customers. The owner told me I wouldn't be allowed to take photographs in a museum, but in fact I went to the Rijksmuseum afterwards, and took many photographs of priceless artwork in total peace. The guards didn't assault or abuse me, but were very polite, kind and respectful. I do not recommend Galerie Geluk (Gallery Happiness) at all. They should change their name to Gallery Unhappiness. Miserable people. In fact I have visited their store several times over the years, and they were unpleasant each time. They also have the same objects year after year, so it doesn't seem like anyone ever buys anything from them. I would rate this as the worst experience I've ever had in a store. Note, the photos I have added were taken outside of the store. I was surprised the belligerant store owners and the thuggish man they employed to assault me didn't force me to delete these too. If it were possible to give them no stars, I would do so. I wrote a review on their Facebook page, and they deleted their page.
