★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basic inventory. Nothing special. Wish they had more employees to help when you have questions. This is really a big miss. I often wonder who is working here?#%^^# It takes forever to find someone the help you like ak a question. You can go to the service desk but there is always a wait. On a plus the cashiers are always friendly of they get rid of them there is not much to say about ther place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have all kind of hardware but the problem is with the staff.. first of all they do not know anything about their stuff.. also if you are not a native speaker then forget about gamma.. explore and learn from YouTube. For example: If you ask about A stuff they will give you B stuff and explain about C stuff. Everything happens in dutch.. So, English speakers be prepared.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stock in store is often different than what the internet says they have in stock. I came here for a list of 5 things, online everything was in stock. In store, 3 of the 5 items were out of stock. I brought it up to one of the sales associates; their answer: "oh yea sorry about that, our stock rarely matches with the online system".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made a trip from Amsterdam to Hilversum to pick up tiles, as based on information on the website the product was in stock or, "op voraad". In the shop, the staff tells you that the availability on the website cannot be trusted. The product was not in stock (also not in another shop 7km away). So had to come back. At least the gentleman there was friendly and tried to help. But yeah, try not to buy there or buy online, to save yourself the petrol, time and - in my case - also cost of the rental car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is well furnished and with friendly staff. I am mostly impressed however about the paint sector that is always so organized and with good variety of products. In couple of occasions I needed advise on paints for indoor and outdoor applications, and I've always got a professional support. There is a very knowledgeable staff who is expert in paints, and he will always give the best advise you need: Boudewijn van den Bergen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relatively small variety of items. Staff can be rude or not-experienced sometimes. The basic things are available though. I would rather go to an Obi or Bauhaus (Germany) if you really need specific things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gamma is the place to go for all the people that love "do it tourself" projects. It has a wide range of tools for any kind of job you need to do, and an even wider range of materials to build anything you need. The range of choice for wood, in type, color, sizes allows to make any kind of custom furniture or any other type of project you have in your mind. I really like that they can do the wood cutting for you, that is very handy for difficult shapes
