Beim letzten Eierskandal 2017 durch Fipronil, in dessen Folge die Regale in den Supermärkten leer waren, konnten Geflügelhof Küppers weiterhin Eier liefern, da man auf Qualitätsfutter für die Zucht setzt. Die Eier können auch bei regionalen REWE Filialen im Kaarster Stadtgebiet erworben werden. Einfach mal hinfahren und selbst schauen. Mein Sohn war so begeistert von dieser, dass ich den Geflügelhof angeschrieben habe, wann diese in Aktion zu sehen ist. Kurz darauf bekamen wir eine Antwort. Sie würden sich bei uns melden werden, wenn es soweit ist. Sie hielten Wort? Ich bin dankbar und überglücklich, dass wir die Möglichkeit hatten die Rübenerntemaschine in Aktion sehen zu können. Es gibt hier neben dem klassischen Hühnerei in verschiedenen Größen und Farben auch Gänseeier, Geflügelfleisch und Spezialitäten aus der Region wie z.B. Apfel, Marmelade, Honig. Man kann hier beispielsweise auf der Wiese direkt die "freilaufenden" Gänse sehen. Schön, dass wir unseren Geflügelhof in Kaarst haben. Absolut empfehlenswert. Direkter Parkplatz vor der Tür vorhanden. Also heinfach mal vorbeischauen. Und übrigens, die Eier sind sehr lecker. The staff at Geflügelhof Küppers is very nice.
