Gestrand staat voor biologisch, duurzaam en huisgemaakt. Wij maken met alle liefde jouw koffie op de manier zoals jij 'm graag drinkt, bakken dagelijks onze bekende huisgemaakte monchou taart, een heerlijke lunch of een uitgebreide borrelplank!
Met het gezellige terras aan het Wad en een stoer interieur zijn wij een eyecatcher op Vlieland. Gestrand is echt voor jong en oud. Overdag spelen de kinderen op het strandje aan het Wad, de ouders genieten van een drankje op het terras. ‘s Avonds na het diner, gaat de muziek wat harder en geniet je van de vakantie vibe van Gestrand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the real value for money you would expect. Waitresses nice but the food and drinks just too expensive for wat you get on your plate. If you do only invest more on what comes on the plate im sure you get better rewards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute place close to the port of Vlieland. The best dessert I would suggest is the Monchou tart with cranberries.
Drinks like Ice coffee are served in big glasses and are tasty as pricey, one thing that is part of islands.
What I ate as vegetarian was a burger that didn't really combined well with the cheese and served with alot of salad, but the sweet fries and normal fries were tasty.

Vega burger, tuna toast, chicken with peanut sauce and beetroot salad everything tasted really good. Amazing fries ??Restroom was also well maintained. Would definitely recommend.

Reserved beforehand in line with corona and were excited to eat here. Had a drink and starter. After an hour and a half had passed we had not been brought our main. We brought this up with the staff and they replied simply with an "oh that's odd". At this point we should have left as only then were we deigned worthy to have our mains which were okay at best. The maishoenfilet was dry and my partners sea bass was most definitely not worth the hour and a half wait. We politely asked for the check and were not once given an apology or explanation for as to why we were blatantly ignored the entire evening. Pay attention if you go here else they will forget you without a second thought!
