s	spyer spyer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never again, sorry, but for an Golden Tulip hotel...it's a wreck. I hope that no one will ever do the same mistake I did- to come here. This should me renovate, starting from basement until roof. Noise ? Like a concert every moment in your room, sound proof? What for ? You can hear your neighbor and the wind blowing, or when someone pee on up floor, or slush the toilet... Great location to come, but better in car sleeping...better on the beach...better anywhere but not here. This hotel earned 4 stars in 1900 I think and since then, not even 1€ investierd...oh yeah...my grandma got as a wedding gift (1920) a room furniture just like here is.
J	John C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best thing about this hotel is probably the location. The hotel is very old and facilities look pretty worn out. They can barely away with the way it looks generally. It certainly looks that it could use a refurbishment/investment. With that being said, the bed comfort, the bathroom and other facilities were alright and the breakfast was really good. It was Buffet style with lots of choices. I'm not sure if you're vegetarian if you'd had the same amount of choices, probably not. We paid around 120€/night which is very expensive for what it is. Probably inflated by the tulips season and the location.

But due to the fact that there is little to no sound isolation, you could have bad experience if there are noisy guests around. + Nice large room + My stay was nice and quite + Good bed + Great view if you have a seaside room + Friendly and helpful staff. + Ok wifi, with easy access - Can have more detailed cleaning. I did not use the hairdryer, but all 4 days it remained filthy with the makeup of the previous guests (see picture) - Can be very noisy, depending on other guests. - No sound isolation whatsoever, the floors and walls are super thin. - No amenities, besides soap/shampoo - No complimentary bottle of water (this is quite standard nowadays, even when the tap water in NL is perfectly safe to drink)

The first room we were given, on the top floor, was tiny, smelled like dog and had a glass bathroom door which was only partially frosted so you would have been able to see each other on the toilet! Asked to move to a different room which was bigger and didn’t have the strange door but the sink was blocked. Bed was two singles with separate duvets and lumpy pillows. In the morning requested an iron which took 50 minutes to arrive. Don’t waste your time or money here!

The view in these rooms are stunning! The reason for one star less is that breakfast for that price is really not worth it. The breakfast buffet is very basic.
C	Chris Wright on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent hotel in a good location. My room had been recently updated, and whilst fairly small was good. Reception area and hallways are looking a bit tired though - although they are busy renovating. Stayed in off-season so the prices were not too bad.

On the first floor above the kitchen we could sometimes literally understand what they were saying. And hear the drumming of footsteps above us. At around 10 pm it is quiet. Mind you, this room had costed us 80 euro extra (original amount already several hundred euro’s) and attitude at reception was not one of empathy, but ‘yes, the building is noisy.’ That is rather disappointing in a furthermore nice hotel.
