★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed to give 1 star to write a review, but if it was up to me it wouldn't get anything! This was one of the worst restaurants I have ever been. They are so rude to take your order!! We were with 4 people and 1 of us left earlier and took her order with her. When we wanted to pay the bill they were lying in our faces that she didn't pay her bill so we were a bit shocked because that's nothing for her to do. They insisted that she didn't pay so we payed the bill. When we were outside you saw them all looking to us with a smile so we phoned our friend and asked and she had PAID her bill. When I went back to the lady as my friend told me she paid her, she was still lying to my face! I have been to a lot of places in Amsterdam but this was beyond rude!! I will never ever go back to a place like that with people like that working there. Also people just bear in mind that the owner was sitting there as well and he was laughing as they were stealing from me! There are Muslims working there as they were Turkish and the lady in the back was wearing a hijab, but I am too and Muslims don't steal! I wonder how they would react if they were treated like we were today.
I will NOT recommend this place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I go here regularly - love the food and the staff is very friendly. Probably the best Döner Kebab in town (try the Yaprak! - and I tried a lot around the city).
Iskender is also great, and not often to find around Amsterdam.
Fresh salads.
Fair prices.
My favorite place to go to in this neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely full Turkish breakfast. It was all delicious ?. The egg was the only let down. It's quiet greasy and the cheese on top makes it drip in grease. But otherwise it was very nice and lovely, friendly staff.
