A	Ana Pé on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just don’t go! Room full of bed bugs. In the pictures you can see how I was after spending 1 single night in that hotel, more than 80 bites. Three of the 4 guests on the same room got bites by these bed bugs. The hotel doesn’t want to pay for the medical expenses and by phone they recognized that the room had problem with bed bugs in the past. For the sake of you, your friends and your family, don’t go!!

Don't stay there for more then a few hours! When you see the outside you'd think that the inside must be better....IT REALLY IS NOT. However, it's in a good location if you want a drinking night.

N	Nicholas Ziglio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am writing this review at 5.51am as I am no longer able to sleep since 3.30am. Someone who said they were staff came into my room without knocking at 3.30am while I was sleeping!They then said it was a mistake and thought it was empty but this was the second time they came into my room after I checked in (what for I don't know as the room had been cleaned already). This isn't the first time it happens in the hotel too from what I have read in the other reviews. First time in 30 years I actually feel unsafe in a hotel, so creepy! People are really loud, on both neighbouring rooms, noisy until 4am. The windows are incredibly old and you can hear loads of noise from the streets too until around 5am. The alarms keep going off in people's rooms because the doors seem to malfunction when opening and closing them. The bathroom smells so bad of cigarette smoke I could vomit every time I go in (this is a non-smoking hotel!). The whole place looks old and grotty including a pair of really old moldy socks just outside the window. I was also given the wrong room number at check-in so I spent a minute try to open the door of a room that wasn't mine. Nothing like the pictures, nothing like a grand hotel.
J	John A Askew on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tired, very run down hotel but in the perfect location, not even a glass in my room, WIFI was almost non existent. Some neighbours were very very noisy, could not phone reception as there is no phone in the room. Gashed my heel badly getting out of the shower, the shower tray was raised off the floor thus exposing a sharp edge which unfortunately my heel found. The gentleman downstairs did provide me with very large plasters which did the job until a pharmacy opened. Will probably not return here.

I am writing this review late but it seems the hotel has still not improved from what i have read in other revent reviews and seems to have gotten worse. There was no lift/elevator working, the room smelled bad. We had to carry our heavy luggage to the first floor ourselves. There were lots of bed bugs. Even after complaining, nothing was done. We paid more than 300 Euros/ night for 3 people!! We were literally shocked with the condition of the hotel and behaviour of the staff. The lady who serves breakfast in the morning was rude. We had arrived from India and did not expect such behaviour as we had been to several other european countries before. There was always a shortage of croissants! The bathroom was horrible and stinking! Did not seem like we were in Europe at all , especially after paying more than 300 euros/ night. We selected this hotel since it was close to our conference venue!

What an amazing experience, the view is something else, the staff were very friendly and attentive; nothing is too much trouble for them and everyone was very professional. The bed was super comfy and we had an excellent nights sleep. Would definitely recommend and hopefully be back soon!
