About HAMRA STREET
Hamra Street was born on a summer's day in 2020. After years of eating mediocre food, I decided to drop everything and build the mediterranean shack of my dreams. High-quality ingredients, delicious recipes, lots of hummus. Not to mention a modern interior design, great music and super hip atmosphere.

β β β β β We just had a lunch in this amazing place in Hilversum. The food was great! We had a mix of 4 starters (meze) to share which was absolutely amazing. The speciality dishes were very tasty as well. The place is very stylish and the staff was very friendly and told us everything about the dishes. We will definitely come back!

β β β β β Truly a missing gem in the city of Hilversum, passed by this beautiful restaurant for lunch and immediately fell in love with it. The food is miles above standard, and the service is by far one of the best restaurants I have attended in the Netherlands, a big thank you to Nicolas, and Alfred (father and son) for the service, and the mother for the tasty food. really recommend you to visit now! I am sure you will be more than happy.

Had a wonderful evening, super tasty dishes and very friendly service!
The employees were sincerely interested if the dishes tasted good, and great advice about what else you can choose (outside the menu).
Especially enjoyed the delicious Orange Chocolate Truffle Cake (not on the menu), fresh orange flavor and then an explosion of chocolate !!
We'll be back for sure!

β β β β β The chicken with lemon was extremely sour, I was not able to eat it. On top of that, I was expecting some chicken breast coated in normal flour+eggs, but it looked like some weird frozen chicken that was thrown in the oven. There was more burnt batter than fish in the other dish we ordered and the taste overall was extremely bland. The chips were good and the delivery fast tho, but I will not return.

Friendly service with a smile, nice coffee (they serve alcoholic beverages as well), very cool interior design, and most importantly: very very good food! Some dishes needed a bit of explanation for the unititiated but this was no problem for the staff. All in all a great addition to the Hilversum horeca, especially nice for our vegan friends :)
