★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the first place to open in the morning where you can get breakfast. The baguette's are decent and not too expensive, Lebkov is better. They also sell lots of stuff you may have forgotten to take along while traveling.

Today I tried to pay at the till in the back and I was brushed off by a girl wearing a black & white zigzag scarf irritatedly. She barked at me I had to use the other till. The message clearly being how dare I disturb her. At the other till, at the food counter, the girls were engrossed in conversation and a paying customer was an annoying distraction. Truly Hema? Truly rude!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for a last minute snack or drink, or to grab toiletries you forgot. Nice selection of makeup, toiletries, and accessories (scarves, travel tote-bags). Prices are slightly higher than at other HEMA locations in Rotterdam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Dutch girl who was working in the morning of the 31st of March needs some training on how to treat customers independently of their nationality. She follows you around the shop and was very rude at the cash register. I’m not coming back.
