Very disappointed with this hotel. Was unable to travel due to being unwell.. hotel refused to give refund or change dates of booking.. we offered them proof with a doctors note but they was very unwilling to do anything at all for us. Paid Β£850 for a room and received nothing back from them. Very unhelpful and will not be using them again.

Despite the name, we got a room in the basement and the only "zicht" available was the ground level of a backyard, a fence and a bunch of trash cans. We did not get any notice at all during the browsing/booking process, that we might wind up in a bunker so this was a bit disappointing. The bunker itself, though, was rather comfy and the beds were perfectly ok. The staff in the reception were also super nice. The is no kitchen or restaurant in this joint, so you have to go elsewhere to get breakfast. Luckily enough, "elsewhere" happens to be right outside the door, since this really is in the middle of the centre of the middle and cafes, bars and restaurants climb each other's backs to get to you. All in all: perfect location, less than perfect facility, but maybe worth considering if the premises are known. But why did they put our used wine glasses back into the cupboard without washing them first?

Great little hotel. Staff is very kind and attentive. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable, but the pillows a little big for my taste. Excellent location, close to plenty of restaurants and the tram stop.

Like others have experienced, this hotel is completely unprofessional and unethical to refuse refunds to those that cannot travel because of the Dutch government travel bans during the covid crisis. EDIT: refund received months later after claiming via the European Online Dispute Resolution platform, so I was not given a refund but the hotel was forced to provide one, so my feedback does 'match the real situation'

The staff were supper friendly and helpful. We had a canal view room up on the 1st floor. Stairs were steep but it's a old building, made it more special. Breakfast is offered at a discount down the ways about 5 min walk cafe Brug34 very nice good pancakes and coffee. On departures day they let us store our luggage till our train was due very helpful and such good customer service.

Top floor two rooms next to eachother all for yourself is great with older kids. Served no breakfast, so honestly feels more like an appartment then a hotel. Stairs are really steep, so no suitable for everybody!

Amazing hotel in Amsterdam. TOP location! This hotel is such a plazent place. From the moment we checked-in we were made to feel at home. The room was clean and beautiful. We stayed there for one day only, but loved every moment! We’ll come back definately!
