β β β β β Very very unfriendly staff. On Google they say they are a 3 star hotel but actually they are just a lousy 2. The breakfast is a joke, just 2 slices of bread. The room is noisy and cold. The shower goes from cold to hot in a second, very unpleasant. Do yourself a favor, dont spend a dime here.

β β β β β Love this hotel!
Perfectly situated in the city centre with a friendly & professional crew in charge from front desk to housekeeping.
Can't wait to return!

β β β β β It's a perfectly well situated hotel with nice rooms (and especially comfortable beds). However, as it is in an old house, there is no lift (the staff helps with the luggage), or restaurant, so breakfast is served to the rooms and is very basic (two slices of cheese, a small bottle of orange juice, some jam, and a fresh roll, two slices of bread and croissant). There is a fridge and electric kettle with some supply of tea and coffee.

β β β β β I am not sure where to begin. Perhaps by saying that this was the very first and very last time I have stayed here can explain all.
The location is awesome. But everything stops there. The room is tiny. I am over 6β2β and about 220lbs and can hardly fit. The bed is narrow and super uncomfortable. The room by the morning gets cold and you canβt control the heating. The room is dark and depressing. I spent here two nights and it was everything but relaxing. Awful place.
Breakfastβ¦ wow. 3 slices of bread, two butters, one croissant, 2 slices of cheese, a few servings of Nutella. No.. itβs far from enough. I am very disappointed.
All in all, this is a place where I would never ever spend a night again. It was a huge mistake from my end and it will never happen again. I do not recommend it to anyone. For this price you can get a much better hotel. Learn from my mistake and leave this expensive dark mood horror hotel behind.

β β β β β this is a disaster, not a hotel. the room is tiny, the interior is miserable, the bathroom is tiny, there is no soundproofing (you can hear absolutely everything that the neighbors are doing), the Internet is weak, there is water in the shower and in the sink (water does not drain well), the towels smell like used, the staff is not friendly, the owner of the hotel like a shepherd dog.
the only plus is the low cost, the bed linen is clean, the friendly lady brought breakfast and the location in the city center.

β β β β β Nice little hotel. Very centrally located, room was clean and comfortable with a view of the canal. Breakfast was simple but included and had enough for us. Reception help was very nice.

β β β β β We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Pros: right in the center, the hotel is close to everything
-The bed had a great mattress and was really cozy
-Our room had a nice canal view (which was also great for pictures ?)
-The breakfast consists of a croissant, 2-3 types of bread, 2 types of cheese, butter, honey, jam, nutella etc. Although it's not a hot breakfast, it's perfect for people who can't eat much in the morning, but will get nauseous on an empty stomach.
-The staff allowed us to store our luggage in the hotel after checkout until our flight. We enjoyed another day in Amsterdam thanks to this.
-The staff helped with getting the luggage up and down the stairs.
Cons:
-The room is small and may be difficult to open your luggage. This was not a big downside for us though.
-The room can get very cold sometimes. Cold air gets through the room even if no windows are open. One side of the bed is right next to the window and it's cold for the person sleeping there.
-The hotel has steep stairs and no elevator because it's an old building.

β β β β β Yep, the stairs are pretty steep! And the whole place is very compact, starting with the room, all facilities, electric kettle, fridge, bathroom, sink etc. But there were quite a few shelves in the room so it didn't feel too cramped. The place was clean and overall we enjoyed our stay. The nice thing is we were able to check in a few hours earlier and once we left we could leave our luggage for a few hours with no extra charge - the staff was always very nice. Good value for the price.
