β β β β β It was a very modern and quite cosy hotel. We took a room without a window and it was actually quite bizzare, however not as much as glass door leading to the bathroom with fairly big gaps around it. Not much privacy provided especially for the more sensitive ones. The breakfast was quite okay, although I've had better in other 3-stars. Overall, worth the price but not mind-blowing.

β β β β β I had a wonderful 2 night stay here recently. Very close to tram/bus/metro and very easy to get into town. I arrived super early and could still check in and found all of the staff to be very helpful. The room was great. No window but all I did was sleep! The bathroom door is odd as completely see through glass but I was travelling alone so didnβt bother me one bit. If I was with a friend it would have been uncomfortable as canβt perform a bowel movement in private!! Would highly recommend though

β β β β β The hosts at hotel New Kit were extremely understanding, welcoming and warm. We had an early check-in and the host at the reception helped us in accommodating our luggage, and have access to restrooms for freshening up. We could leave our luggage without any worry and go for sight seeing. The coffee machine served a refreshing brew. The best thing about the hotel was its location, just besides metro station and tram. Only thing that I did not like was there was no lock inside bathroom.

β β β β β Good value for money. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The rooms are well laid out, so they feel bigger than they are. Very clean. Also there are free croissants and coffee in the seating area /lobby. There are coffee cups and instant coffee in the rooms.
On the minus side: we had a single light switch in our room and no windows, so we could choose between either completely dark or completely bright. Also, the bathroom door is glass, so if someone turns on the light in the bathroom in the night, the whole room is flooded with light.

β β β β β Such a good hotel. We totally enjoyed our stay there and explored the city of Amsterdam. The hotel is a bit outside of the city center so you should plan about half an our to get to the central station. Apart from that the location is really new, clean and offers a fantastic atmosphere for a very fair price!

β β β β β The hotel itself was very clean, with very comfortable beds. The rooms were always dark from the curtains so if sleeping in was needed, it was easy and we always had a great sleep. And when curtains opened the beautiul large windows let in lots of light. The heating and cooling was manual unlike other hotels where it's blasting on all the time. so our stay was always pleasant and comfortable. As for the staff, they made me feel at home with their great service and always helpful. they always went above and beyond expectations. I will always stay here when in Amsterdam. It's a well connected area, and close to great restaurants, trams, trains etc. and parking is good price on street. Breakfast is complete, with eggs, baked beans, bread and delicious fresh croissants. I cannot think of a better place to stay that is so understated and private, and always good prices. Thanks New Kit, we will never forget our stay with you. we are non smokers and we really apprecuated that they were very strict on guests smoking outside. other hotels had many rooms with lingering smoke smell, and here it was so fresh and no smells at all. we could breathe.

β β β β β Weβre having the best time. Itβs clean and fresh with a decent breakfast (limited vegan options). Agnese ( the receptionist) is so lovely! We forgot our charger and she lent us hers. They made a swap for our room last minute and the hotel is 1minute from the station. Win!

β β β β β Nice hotel, it's not near the city center but with metro or bus that stops in front of hotel, you are 20min in center. Also it's 20min-30 min from airport. Staff is very polite and lovely. Definitely sign up for breakfast, because for a little amount of money, you can eat till you are full and breakfast by quality is 5/5. Rooms are nice and big. Bed is really comfortable. We were on 1st floor and wifi was really bad, and clean lady didn't change our bedsheets, didn't take out the trash. In room there are nice big windows ,they can't be opened but you have air-conditioning and ventilation in rooms. And behind couch we found dirty spoon when we came, but the rooms were tidy and clean.
