★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small cozy rooms with clean washrooms having bath tub and all toiletries. Professional check in staff always smiling, welcoming and willing to assist. Ideal location for tourists it's actually located right in the beginning of a popular street on which all major attractions and canals are located (Straight from one end to other end of street is 25 mins by walk). Just 1 stop away from Amsterdam Central Station by metro. Breakfast options are limited if they could add more choices it would have definitely got 4 star ranking. Would definitely recommend to others who are looking value VS money paid.

And in the morning, one is welcomed to a hearty breakfast—-even if your socks don’t match :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there a week in January. Small but more than adequate excellently-appointed room with a lot of light, very clean and cleaned daily. Very personable and helpful staff. The price was excellent and the location superb, near many tram lines and Metro. I have recommended to friends in Amsterdam and abroad. I look forward to staying there again when I visit next year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well located near the Heineken brewery and the Albert Cup market and for a very reasonable price. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Could do with updating a little from the 70's but that would be my only complaint. Didn't try the breakfast so unfortunately can't comment on that. Worth it for a short stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location: 5 minutes walk from Rijksmuseum and inner canals. Friendly and helpful staff. You can rent bikes. We didn't try the breakfast. The room was spacious and very clean. Toilet was a bit smelly though. Besides this, I definitely suggest it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is located within walking distance of several attractions and near tram lines for more distant trips. Front desk service was pleasant and the room was kept clean during our stay. The room itself was incredibly small and the beds were lumpy. To get to the rooms there's a choice of an extremely small elevator or the classic near-vertical Dutch stairway. For some reason the key is attached to a very large heavy key fob, something you'd expect to see on a restroom key so it won't be taken by accident. The hotel was a little less expensive than others in the area so perhaps the negatives are outweighed by price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a 3 star hotel. The rooms reminded me of hostels to be honest and I feel like there were better hostels out there for a fraction of the price. The staff was hospitable, accommodating most needs.
My biggest issue was the heater in our room was not consistent. And considering Amsterdam is quite cold in the winter the room would be freezing at almost all times of the day.
Location is excellent for tourist excursions and quite close to central Amsterdam.
