β β β β β ***If you are staying here soon check for any maintenance as scaffolfing went up whilst we were there and were awoken by drills- we weren't notified in advance nor when we checked in! ***
Arrived for a 3 night stay and found the rooms to be very basic. Interior needs a big overhaul!
Hallway wallpaper has brown sections of world maps on but it looks like the walls are mouldy and stained!
The rooms was fine but with only 1 plug socket working and 2 single duvets for a doulbe bed it was a bit inconvenient!
The breakfast offering was basic with toast, 3 cereals, croissants and then a small section of ham and cheese. Coffee and tea was also available!

β β β β β Good value for money, room was really small compared to what I am used too, but what it lacks in size makes up in location. Very close to Museumplein-3min walk. The room was clean and warm, but old furniture, reminded me of student dorms back home in Eastern Europe. Very nice breakfast, no restaurant though, except for Keyzer, across the street. Big downside for me was lack of parking. If you get lucky, you can find a spot around the hotel, but no guarantee. Girls at the reception were very nice and friendly.

β β β β β We have just booked out of Hotel Omega this morning after a two-night stay, during which time we found every aspect of the hotel satisfactory. The staff were so friendly and helpful and even supplied us with a kettle when I asked her. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the sheet were changed daily. The beds and pillows were so comfy as well. The breakfast was also adequate for our needs. The buses and trams were only around the corner, and there was also lovely restaurants closely. We will definitely be returning to Hotel Omega as it far exceeded our expectations and we honestly couldn't fault a thing there.

β β β β β We've had our sheets and towels changed everyday. It's modest and practical, the hairdryer in our room didn't work and they supplied a replacement promptly. Basic breakfast and outdoor yard with seating, accessible 24 hours.

β β β β β We stayed in a triple room for 5 nights. Our room overlooked the church. This had no impact on us at all.(a previous review was rude and scathing) The hotel was clean and well presented. The room was cleaned every day and new towels provided.
All of the staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice.
It was situated in a quiet street with some great restaurants and eateries very near. 5 minute walk to Museumplein and the tram network.
We would be very happy to stay at Hotel Omega on our next visit to Amsterdam.

β β β β β The hotel can be reasonably priced and the rooms are typical Dutch. Don't try and compare them to Premier Inn because they don't, but ours was comfortable and cleaned with fresh towels every day. The breakfast was typical Dutch as well, but it was not as well serviced as other Amsterdam hotels I have stayed in. Still a good place to stay.

β β β β β It is just an average hotel. We got it booked by our agent during the Europe trip. The rooms are small and were cozy as we visited during the winters. The staff is cooperative and will help you.
The breakfast they serve is upto the mark. The advantage of booking this hotel is that it is in the center of the city and you'll have access to almost all the parts of the city.

β β β β β Great location just a short walk from the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Concertgebouw theatre, etc.
The continental breakfast was good, I was pleased to be able to smoke my tobacco pipe in the garden area adjacent to the breakfast room. 2 friendly cats from next door in the garden! Overall good value.
We arrived quite late at around 10pm and were not offered a tea or coffee, which would have been a nice option. There were no hot drink facilities in the bedroom. The double bed was pushed into a corner so had access only from 1 side and the foot of the bed - not really convenient for 2 people around 60 years of age.
The TV worked but could not be tilted as very worn.
