We spontaneously got an upgrade as well :) The location was perfect. There was some street noise, but the hotel is very centrally located in Amsterdam. Five minutes walk from the train station, and very easily to hop in, in between activities, when you forgot something for example. If we visit Amsterdam again, we will return to this Hotel :)

Centrally located and most recreational places are close by so you get to see,if not all, the best of places near Amsterdam Centraal. You have plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and casinos around this place. Overall, a nice, cosy place with the most hospitable staff 24/7.

Beds not comfortable, room too hot and air con wasn't working, far too noisy. Hotel promote using deliveroo to get food delivered but it didnt work. First order got cancelled , 2nd never arrived and im still waiting on the refund. On the other hand, staff were really lovely and accommodating!

This hotel is in a perfect location and has all the ambiance of a luxury hotel with the love and comfortable feeling of Amsterdam. We included breakfast 10 euro for 3 people which was the best money spend. The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions regarding the hotel and Amsterdam in general. Absolutely lovely.
c	cathy deverre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite a good geographical location, a good welcome, a nice visual of the room and good bedding, this reservation is a very big disappointment. Triple room on the third floor .... Soundproofing is non-existent. All the noises from the street, noisy passers, trams, metro, various vehicles including the sweeper in the morning are live as if the window were open. The same is true for the footsteps of the neighbors on the upper floors, the elevator. The solution proposed by the staff, earplugs!!!
