★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn’t know it was in/next to the red light district LOL. It’s an amazing hotel considering the cost. Super convenient and we got a river facing room which was beyond our expectations!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here a few years ago, the host was friendly, close to shops, station and indeed a good place to enjoy Amsterdam from. The host also took guests on a bicycle tour. We enjoyed our stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like most other big-city Hapimags, the location of this one is superb for a visitor. Amazingly, it is reasonably quiet at night even in the rooms facing the Singel. The facilities are up to the normal high standards of Hapimag. The staff are helpful and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location - quick to get to central station and the main areas. Not impressed about the sofa bed that was old (it was like sleeping in the back of an old car) and you have to make your own bed. Also asked for 2x extra pillows because the ones that came in the cupboard were pretty much flat and reception gave us 2x pillows without pillow cases??? Lastly, we saw someone dodgy come into the elevator with us and followed us up to our level, we let them out first to see where they were going... the person went to knock on a random room (storage) so we quickly ditched him.... no cctv around and the staff was never really at reception either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: Location is perfect, just a 5 minute to Centraal station. Rooms are nice with good amenities. View from front facing room was excellent. Extremely quiet part of the city away from the bars etc.
Cons: Pillows on the bed were laughably bad. Booked a double room and got 2 single beds pushed together. Stains on carpet were gross. Lights in bathroom and kitchenette were flickering constantly. Creeky floors and thin walls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hapimag Resort is a Switzerland-based timeshare. The location in Amsterdam is very conveniently located at the Single, 5 min. away from the central station. We had a room overlooking Single, which was very nice. The rooms were clean, well furnished and staff was friendly, fast and efficient. Thank you for a pleasant weekend in Amsterdam!
