S	Shanna Pie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well definitely many stairs. I think the toilets are low flow because the room had an odor when I walked inside. It went away when I flushed away someone's left over urine. The wifi didn't work upstairs unless you stood at the door. When I lay down in the bed the internet went way. But it was downtown so I guess that was good. Overall I don't recommend this hotel.

The showers are powerful and temperature is simple to alter. In a good central location, if you got a room at the back your most likely to have a view of someone elses room, but you get what you pay for! Would happily stay again!

The Hotel is near the "SexMuseum" and he is in the extra-center of Amsterdam. Only problem, there are not parking near the hotel or they are very expensive so you must to park you're car outside of the city.
A	Amelia Young on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place for a quick over night stay. Not far from Amsterdam Station and plenty of food shops around. You can hear the noise from the street but it's not overbearing. The staff and friendly and the rooms are clean but basic. There are a few smoking rooms available if you smoke. Not sure if you have to book these rooms in advance. We walked in and got a room for the night.

The wall is thin as you can hear someone walking in the corridor and speaking in their room. The ladder is long with small steps. If you have BIG or HEAVY luggage, I do not recommend this hotel. One more thing, I do not know why the floor of my room is not flat or horizon.

If you’re looking for the perfect simple place in the very centre of events, this place is very convenient for all your needs. Canal cruises are half a minute away, good bike rental is 5 minutes away, places to eat and shopping all around, are room is spacious.
A	Ally on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The family that run the hotel are wonderful, me and my partner have stayed over 5 times. Unfortunately this time, I was bitten 30+ times all over my body. Ive never felt so itchy and in pain. Once getting home and going to the doctors I was told they were bed bug bites and was given medication due to allergies. I emailed Van Gelder on Friday morning in regards to the issue, but had no response yet. Such a shame as it's a great location and lovely staff but this time wasnt a good stay and I wont be returning.
R	Recensioni Sincere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been a good choice. The position is central, near the train station and to all the attractions of the city. The staff is pleasant and the view from the breakfast room is amazing. I would had give five stars if the room was renew. It was very old-styled and for this reason I think it's expensive, but it's very clean. I only suggest a restyle of the rooms but it's a very cool place to stay.
