β β β β β The price I had to pay in the hotel was 25% higher than my online booking. I think bed bugs bit me. You heard people from the street alle night even tough it was during corona and city was empty. Find a better place!!!!

β β β β β I really enjoyed staying at hotel continental. I had a room on the 4 th floor with a toilet, sink and shower in my room. The temperature was very comfortable and cozy even with it being so blustery cold outside. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfy. The room over all, though very spartan was extremely tidy. This is really all you need for a stay in Amsterdam. The price is good and you are right in the heart of all the activities. The staff is so friendly and will make sure you are comfortable.it was really great to walk downstairs and immediately be in the heart of all the goings ons.

β β β β β The rooms are so small. The staff always has a ton of people who just sit with them all night and judge you as you come in and out of the building. Not very professional. Great location, close to centre and coffeeshops but there are better hotels for cheaper close by.

β β β β β Very central. Basic hotel with shared toilet but own shower cubicle in room. Some rooms have bunk beds and some have single beds. Beware though the internal staircase is very steep. I have stayed there 3 times now and would again

β β β β β Very old facilities hotel, on the liveable edge, the receptionist saved the day by good communication and jokes. Staying here feels like Four Rooms movie, with hard strange noises all night long, expecting any moment someone to smash the door ;))) . Location is 10/10.

β β β β β Perfect location, nice staff, but very unhygienic in general. Lots of mold in our room, especially in the bathroom, brown spots on the "clean" linens, and old, half-eaten candy stuck under the top bunk bed. Also, the tv and electric heater didn't work. The latter was kind of problematic at first, because there was a large amount of cold air flowing into the room from a huge gap under the window.
But then again, it is a very cheap option, so if hygiene doesn't mean that much to you, this place could be considered. Oh, also, they charge a tourist fee that one should be aware of (I don't think this was clear from the website we used to book our stay)

β β β β β The rooms are very small. the shower has no door.no bathroom in the room you have to go outside.There's a very bad smell that comes a goes.the staff were ok at best and the stairs here are probably the worst I've seen in my life. Definitely don't come here unless you have no other option.
