★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afgelopen dinsdagavond hier gegeten. Vanaf Groningen op teug weg naar huis de afslag Dwingeloo genomen uit nostalgie! Heerlijk gegeten en de tijd lijkt hier stil te staan. Voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht waren met zorg gemaakt en heerlijk. Wij hadden dorade en eendenborst. De porties waren precies goed en bijgeserveerde bietensalade was heel smaakvol! De bediening was vriendelijk en attent! Mochten wij weer in Dwingeloo zijn, komen wij hier graag terug!
 Dined here last Tuesday evening. From Groningen on the way home, I took the exit Dwingeloo out of nostalgia! Delicious food and time seems to stand still here. Starter and main course were made with care and delicious. We had dorado and duck breast. The portions were just right and the side beet salad was very tasty! The service was friendly and attentive! If we are in Dwingeloo again, we would like to come back here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi hotel, gebouw uit 1662, centraal gelegen in Dwingeloo. Interieur sfeervol. Standaardkamer prima, weinig ventilatie (raam kon niet open). Schoon, netjes. Serre voor borrel kijkt uit op de Heuvelenweg.
Restaurant met uitzicht op de dorpsbrink.
Valentijnsdiner: tafel bezaaid met rozenblaadjes, roze (heerlijke!) cocktail vooraf, tapas van het huis, hoofdgerecht zalig, toetje heerlijk.
Personeel bijzonder vriendelijk en bereidwillig, straalt rust uit.
Ontbijtbuffet overdadig. Probeer de eigengebakken cake!
Beautiful hotel, building from 1662, centrally located in Dwingeloo. Interior attractive. Standard room fine, little ventilation (window could not be opened). Clean, tidy. Conservatory for drinks overlooks Heuvelenweg.
Restaurant overlooking the village green.
Valentine's dinner: table strewn with rose petals, pink (delicious!) cocktail beforehand, tapas of the house, main course delicious, dessert delicious.
Staff very friendly and willing, exudes tranquility.
Breakfast buffet lavish. Try the homemade cake!

The hotel itself is in a old building. We were put in an older room which was. To completely to my taste.
However the great service and nice food made up for it all.
