 Both myself and my girlfriend have a bad experience at Liefeld. From a wrong and hastily placed spiral to wrong advice in the event of illness, I would look a little further than this practice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meer dan 25 jaar zijn wij hier patiënt geweest. Dr Liefeld is rustig en legt zaken duidelijk uit. Ook dr. Oudhof is is een prettige huisarts, luistert goed en is betrokken. Door een verhuizing waren wij helaas genoodzaakt een andere huisarts te zoeken.
We have been patients here for over 25 years. Dr Liefeld is calm and explains things clearly. Dr. Oudhof is also a pleasant general practitioner, listens well and is involved. Due to a move we were unfortunately forced to look for another doctor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The secretary was extremely rude, clearly understanding my question and refusing to speak to me in English. Since I've recently moved here, I do not speak the language yet and I found this extremely apathetic and childish.

She doesn’t know what being kind means, she is totally at the wrong place. She lacks education.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ General practitioner. The place to go if you are in great pain. Be aware that pragmatism is high here, bring your evidence, otherwise Paracetamol will be the solution. Don't expect to be sent to a specialist right away, they will try your resilience first. By the way, the staff usually refuses to speak English over the phone, even when you're sure they are understanding you - I find this quite embarrassing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my general practitioner location for nearly 8 years. Even though I like the doctors there, the difficulty making an appointment if you don't speak Dutch is very frustrating and almost unbelieveble, considering Amsterdam is known for being a city where most people (if not everyone) speak English.
If you are an expat you will always find companies that refuse to speak English with you. With some of them you won't have a choice, but if you do have a choice, find another one. And that's what I did. I left this GP for another one that was easier to communicate as an expat. I hope they change their ways.
