Genuine Indian cuisine. Their Vindaloo is awesome. Just mention you want the real deal and it is what you can expect in a local restaurant in New Delhi. They also serve Cobra and King Fisher. Unfortunately bottled, but that makes sense I guess.

It’s pathetic how some indian rate this restaurant. Whenever you see a Indian restaurant on google if you look at the 1 stars its mostly from our indian. The big reasons are: 1) The restaurant owned by: (Bengali, Pakistani, Nepali) - How ignorant, look up history it was 1 country. But it seems the racial problem between indians against people of south-asia is quite big. 2) PRICES - When we indians are abroad we think. Oh the prices must be the same like india. How people don’t understand that the cost here is higher than in india. Still they expect to eat as cheap as possible. Go to a macdonalds and order a vegan burger. 3) TAP WATER or OWN DRINK - some people decide they won’t serve tap water. That’s the house rules as a customer you should accept it or leave. Some other indians bring their own drink. I mean have a bit of shame. The bartender is not free. The staff cost money. The fridge to keep the drinks cold cost money as well. 4) FOOD - At last we come to food. Finally where every restaurant should really be judged on. Indians don’t understand they are sitting in a restaurant. In. A foreign country where 90 percent of their clients is white/european. What means is they can’t handle the spicy that we indians are used to. You should also understand in europe people eat with fork and knife. You can’t serve meat with bone. Because thats what the majority of the clients of a restaurant won’t like. The clients who keep a restaurant surviving. Ofcourse there will be food adaption. Because we are not in India. 5) SERVICE - now we come to the part of service. You can already understand if a waiter refuses tonserve tap water heb is rude etc by the average indian. Calling waiters with snap of your fingers is rude. Treating waiters like servants that’s rude. When you are finished with eating you ask for a finger bowl thats rude. what sonyou expect the waiter gonna clean your feet as well? This long story is just to let people know. How we indians sometimes are. Me, myself am indian as well have an own indian restaurant. And go to many other indian restaurant. The story I just wrote is the story of every owner of an indian restaurant in europe. Hopefully my fellow-indians will inprove in the nearby future.

Tasty food and good service. We had samosa, chicken bhuna, paneer bhuna and garlic naan. The curry was tasty and the chicken was soft and tender. There are only a few Indian restaurants (that i have been to) in NL that serve good Naan. This is one of them. The naan was soft, fermented and big size. The restaurant is spacious and has cubicles for families offering a bit of privacy in an otherwise open restaurant.

Very nice place and service. Service was good and curry were delicious but only thing is that Naan is really not authentic. I would suggest if it is Indian restaurant to have authentic Naan.

Carpark opposite, food fresh and delicious in as much as we ordered some take away for the next day. Service was swift and with a smile. Prices really competitive. They got me with the toothpicks on the table, rarely seen nowadays and greatly missed. Such attention to small details shows the level of dedication to delivering an experience. Will definitely be revisiting.

Great halal Indian place ?? We went here for the first time and went with the butter chicken along with boti kebab (spicy lamb meat). The (sweet) butter chicken was delicious. You can choose between nan (bread) on the side or rice. We chose bread and it was great, but I think for next time it would be even better with rice. The boti kebab is great if you like spicy meat. Tastes delicious with a nice spicy kick to it. Before you receive your order you also get papadam (crunchy bread) with some sauces for free, which was also very nice to enjoy in the meantime. Service was 10/10. Very friendly staff and food arrives very quick. You can tell they are hard working and want to serve you the best they can. And although their website does not mention it, we were told by our server that all meat in this restaurant is halal! Definitely recommend visiting here! Till next time, we still have a lot to try ???
