Afgelopen maanden al meermaals contact gehad met sher e bangla. Zouden geld terug krijgen maar hebben dit nog nooit teruggekregen. Waardeloze tent vol oplichters Pure scam. Dropped by in Meerstad with their promoter. Brought us a promotion for €20, which later turns out not to be what he had said. In recent months I have been in contact with sher e bangla several times. My girlfriend (who, by the way, is Indian) and I ordered "Butter Chicken", "Chicken Tikka Masala", "naan" and "pappadam" through Thuisbezorgd. Nothing was remotely palatable, not even the rice which I thought would be hard to mess up. Let's start with the sauces, they were runny and oily. Just from seeing them, we could tell we were in for a bad time. They were unnaturally bright as you can see in the pictures, with a distinctly oily shine. Both sauces featured raisins quite prominently despite not being advertised on the menu in Thuisbezorgd. The chicken, I think it is safe to assume, was boiled. There was no texture and no charring, which I would have expected from these dishes. Just google any recipe. The rice looked, smelled and tasted old. You may be able to see in the picture, the grains look wrinkled and are quite clumped up from the staleness. Eating the pappadam was like biting into crispy, burnt sunflower oil. The naan also wasn't great, but shines in comparison. For the first time in my life I called a restaurant to complain, not really knowing what to expect, but I just had to let them know how terrible the experience had been. They did offer to cook the meals again for us, but I could not hold it on my conscience to waste yet more food. I do hope their eat-in dining experience is better. But I won't be one to step through their doors. Consume at your own risk.

Based on my experience, their portion is not too big and the sauce and content ratio is quite disappointing. More sauce and not enough pieces meats. In terms of the taste, it was okay but not memorable. I hope they will improve their portions and the sauce-content ratio in the future.
