★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We snuck into this place off Rembrandt Square on a whim, as we’d heard that one should have Indonesian food while in Amsterdam. As early eaters (between 5pm and 8pm, though I’d check on the door first), we were valid for the 25% discount on ricetables. We got the €36 pp ricetable and were extremely pleased - excellent flavour, lots of range (beef, chicken, seafood and vegetables in a variety of sauces), and altogether more than enough quantity for us to feel gratuitously full. We were so excited to start eating when the food arrived, I only took a picture of the starter! (Yes, there’s even a starter included!)
Extra nice touches: being able to pick our own seat so we could look out onto the square; the menu explaining where “ricetables” comes from; cute lamps with various South East Asian fruit attached, decorating the windowsills.
Take notice: to get the discount you HAVE to leave your table before 8pm. Leave plenty of time to do this - we had trouble attracting the staff’s attention, then when we did it was 8:02pm and they almost didn’t give us the discount. Our waiter was pleasant enough about it, but I don’t think the boss was pleased.
Overall recommend, would go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We experiences the worse welcoming at Indrapure.
When we arrived at the door, a long older grey haired owner/waiter walked straight at us and just hard pushed the door upon my face without any emotion or being apologetic. Afterwards he quickly assigned a table and let his other colleague take the order.
The rice table for 90+ euros for 2 person is alright. Indrapure felt like a high priced buffet with good atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the Rembrandtplein, this place is a must try.
We took a break from Dutch food to try Dutch Indonesian food.
There are different set menus to choose from. Options for vegetarians are available too.
Small plates of different dishes are presented and kept on a warm plate.
Taste is good. Could’ve been a bit spicier.
Service is great as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! Had a traditional rice table here with a friend and have to say every single thing served was just delicious. One of the nicest meals I've ever had. The flavours and offerings were completely different to anything I've tried. Really good value for money and the staff were lovely. Cannot recommend enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really tasty Indonesian food. Must try the iga bakar domba and the soto ayam which were both delicious and hearty. The mains are served with a portion of rice and also come with two side salads (gado-gado and a mango salad) as well as fried potato crisps and toasted coconut. It's also nice that they keep the food warm onced served on your table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Under new management, but just as good. I have visited on at least one trip each year to the Netherlands for over 10 years and have always loved their food. I have taken family and colleagues; everyone loves this place.

I would recommend the rendang by itself. It is very tasty and perfectly spicy.
Staff is very friendly, interior is nice and big. Nice walking location too.
