- I had to contact them to charge me, because their system failed to do even that.
- Their support service is awful and super unprofessional. Agents don't understand or don't go through the information one sends, stop replying when the situation gets complicated, blames customers for their own mistakes and are plainly rude. Reaching out through other channels doesn't help and you're simply stuck with the same unwilling-to-help agent.
If you sign a contract with them, just hope to have as few issues with your policy or claims as possible, because otherwise, you're just gonna lose your mind trying to solve them.
And no, clearly explaining the issue through the phone or in writing does not help.

Whatever you do, do not get this insurance. I thought it was only me but 5 others friends complained about problems they’ve had with insure to study. Horrible experience. They sometimes for some Months charge you double and they extend contracts without even getting a signature from you and you will have to fight them to fix their mistakes. What a horrible business that desperately needs new management. How can a company operate so terribly In a market which you have to be so careful like the insurance market. One star is a rating to high for this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly unprofessional and unreliable. They refused to cover my costs, even though I submitted a doctor's statement and all the proofs of payment. They ask for documents that do not exist and cannot be acquired. In the last 5 months of my internship I repeatedly e-mailed them and they ignored every single email, never got back. Shame on you InsureToStudy, for ripping off and scamming students!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your claim is in anything more than the most straight forward case, it is very difficult to get an intelligible response.
It may just be a language barrier but the customer service will reject claims based on terms and conditions that do not apply to the situation.
Explaining things in detail and requesting elaboration on the reasons for rejecting goes nowhere, the same thing is just repeated. It is like talking to a bot. It seems like they try to take advantage of how it is usually not worth the time and effort to take legal action against this.
However, they are efficient if they do accept the claim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service has been very good so far. Three out of the 4 hospitals i visited sent the invoices directly to them and they were paid. The fourth hospital charged me 107 euros for consultation. The company refunded me after receiving my invoice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I bought a basic plan by filling out the form on their website, everything was smooth. The second time when I tried to apply for the Master+ plan it was painful though, since you have to talk with someone from their team to get the form and send it back via email. Took forever for them to reply, like over a month with constant reminder emails and phone calls... Aside from that, the service is great so far, got my insurance money back for dental expenses after just a couple of days. The procedure for claims is really simple and straightforward. I think they are just really overloaded, probably they should hire many more staff for customer supports.
