★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the nicest owner. I had an appointment to get something fixed on my bike, but unfortunately the mechanic was sick. It would have been nice if they called me ahead of time to cancel, but instead I travelled all the way there for nothing. What peeved me more is that they didn't even apologize for the inconvenience.
Edit: juizz's business secret is that they avoid providing you service. I've literally been trying for months to get something fixed on my bike. Here is the list of excuses that I've heard: "we're in the process of updating our software, so we can't order the parts for you come back in 10 days", "we have a maintenance backlog, so our earliest availability is next month", "our mechanic is unfortunately sick, try again next week", "our mechanic is on holiday".. it never ends.
Edit 2: Slowly but surely my bike is getting the required repairs, but I continue to be amazed by the people that work there (not in a good way). Fact of the matter is that it is literally taking months to replace and repair 2 parts..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I understand that other people may have had bad experiences with Juizz Utrecht but mine was pretty positive.
We bought a display-model Winther Kangaroo and were given a very good deal on it. We could negotiate to our liking and the salesman was pretty lenient. We've had problems with the name on the bill and that had to go to the head office, which took a couple of weeks but we finally got the correct bill via post.
I took the bike to the 1st free service a couple of weeks ago and the guy at the shop was nice. He addressed all my concerns and his communication was top notch. The appointment was scheduled by email and the Juizz staff was very responsive. All in all, it's a very positive experience so maybe something is radically changing or was I just lucky?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service mediocre, slow and not that knowledgeable (for example regarding available accessories and accurate delivery date when I bought a cargo bike from them in 2019). Prices high. Said cargo bike had flat tire recently. I used to get the bike repaired at another local shop with a great repair guy, but he recently left, so I thought I’d give Juizz a try. Repair personnel suggested pumping up the wheel, but I requested a new inner tube in order to avoid getting stranded. This took 24 hours and then, less than 24 hours after picking it up, the tire was completely flat. Stranded, alas, but at least I was at home. Another store was able to easily fix the problem the next day, which required another new inner tube. I went back to Juizz for a refund and was told that, yes, I should receive one and that it would take up to 10 business days. After 12 business days, after I had already called once, I called again and was told I would receive a call back before the close of business. No call, no refund. This review is taking the last bit of energy I’m willing to spend on Juizz. In a nutshell: go somewhere else.
