β β β β β Perfect shop with good products. Nice that it opens early. Good people works here. They helped a lot to find what we need.
It was big surprise to me that MasterCard and Visa cards are not acceptable here!
As they said - do you have "normal" cards, no credit cards. And then they suggested to use the ATM at the corner to withdraw cash.
So I am deeply confused now! Can I use MasterCard or Visa card at Groningen at all? Hope not, because it will be difficult to find needed cash.

Seasonal fruits with the ones you can get off-season too.
The staff seems happy to work in the supermarket :)
They dont have many drinks for those who prefer low-sugar intake but still want some sweetness but they have alternatives (fruits, lemons, etc) to make up for it.
It is established by the canal meaning; A peaceful scenery when you leave the supermarket.
They even have a section dedicated to kitchen utensils (grater, knives, forks, napkins) !!

β β β β β The super market is big and has a great variety of products. Also, the staff is very helpful and kind. Having said that I find it unacceptable that they don't accept Mastercard or Visa. I wasn't able to pay and I had to borrow money from a friend for my groceries. Other Jumbo branches allow Master or Visa, so I don't see why this branch does not.

β β β β β Very friendly employees and since the remodel there is a great selection of products. If you have not been to this Jumbo it might be a bit hard to find your way around as the order in which the products are presented isnβt the same as in other (smaller) Jumbo stores. Since the remodel thereβs now also a selection of products from HEMA available which is nice to have. Most of the checkout system is with self scan machines which often makes the supermarket trip a lot faster than having to wait in line.
