★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, they have a very wide selection. They pride themselves on low prices. But in reality many products that people never compare are very expensive (such as deodorant for example) - up to twice the price. The downside of the "low pricing" is that fruit and vegetables are very often spoiled and moldy. When you point that out, they'll remove it and sometimes offer you a free product. If you have to return to the store for it, you get your money back and sometimes something extra. But it never improves. I've had spoiled meats, even prepackaged ones, and not just one: sometimes several items from the same batch or purchase. Avocado's, paprika's and berries are also risk items here. I've been spending an average of 150 euro on a weekly basis here for a couple of years now and complained so, so often about it. They don't care. In the bigger picture they are making a huge profit and giving away freebies is a lot easier and cheaper than actually improving your product and your company. On another note: their self scanners often fail, making you have to scan everything again after they go dark at the end of your run.
I'm at the point where I'm actively searching for a different supermarket to shop, because supporting this store is a loss for other stores who still make an effort selling quality products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As used to Belgian supermarkets, jumbo always impresses me with the huge variety of products. From food (amazing bakery, pizzaria and charcuterie) to plants (with a florist at your service) and even a small gama of medication at your disposal. The prices are great!
