A	Ana Alexandra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If Kevin Bacon were a person, it would be Steve Buscemi- a little rough around the edges but always brings a smile. I used to go here pre-covid and thought of it as a decent place (perhaps I took it for granted) but wow, visiting recently, I really appreciate what a great place it is. Unbelievably good service- the staff are friendly, attentive (without pestering), good craic and know what they're doing. Great cocktails, delicious food, good atmosphere. (This is a local bar type place, go expecting that and you should be happy.) Only criticism is that the outside chairs could do with being reupholstered (cigarette burns in a few of the cushions) but given the current financial pressures on bars and restaurants it's easy to ignore so don't be put off by it. Update: I saw some reviews complain about the service which makes no sense to me based on my last visit (or any previous ones) but I know they're short staffed so maybe there was poor service from new people? (We visited evening 30th Aug- waitress had worked there 4 years, red-head barman also seemed to have been there a long time, both were excellent.)

M	Mythri Reddy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on Valentine’s Day as my husband loves Thai food. Amazing food and cocktails. We had a 3 meal course, Pad Thai is a must try and Flower Power cocktail. Prices are perfectly fine. To our surprise there was a contest going on for here the winner gets to stay in the hotel for the same night. And we won that. We stayed there that night and breakfast was included which is wow. This was a very special Valentine’s Day surprise! Thank you Kevin bacon bar? The staff was super friendly all the time. Best place for Thai food and drinks. Definitely recommended and will visit the place soon❤️

The staff are so rude, and I couldn’t agree more with the other comments about this. They do not serve you when entering, you just wait around and seat yourself after 10 min of being ignored. And the same carries on when waiting for a menu, and placing your order.

Located in Amsterdam oud west, not to far from foodhallen, this place is a great place to have dinner. They have the best Thai food I have had in Amsterdam and their Thai inspired cocktails totally complement the food. We ordered pad thai and the thai green curry - both were on point. Staff is super friendly and service is quick. Would totally come back here again.

The classic old fashioned was made as it should be. We also tried the Ruby Red cognac cocktail (delicious if you don't mind your cocktail a little sweet). The gin and tonics were good too - specially the lychee flavoured.
