Giuseppe Comes, chefkok/eigenaar van Trattoria con enoteca is een Italiaanse restaurateur die zijn passie vindt in de eerlijke Italiaanse keuken.
Daartoe serveert Giuseppe dagelijks superverse wisselende gerechten in vele variëteiten uit zijn geboorteland Italië. De producten en ingrediënten worden elke dag vers ingekocht op markten en bij de vaste leveranciers uit Italië. Zo komen bijvoorbeeld vanuit Italië de zwarte truffels wekelijks binnen.
We zijn weer blij dat we jullie morgen verwelkomen in onze Italiaanse restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good! We just finished take away menu and it was delicious. Good portions (non dutch portions for once lol), very tasty, good quality products, fresh and last but not least sweet service. They made me cannelloni extra even for free and my dad (ofc he is dutch and thus did not tip) but i just want to say i really appreciate the service and food that made my birthday weekend. As soon as the restaurants open up i am coming back for the dine in experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this restaurant based on the good reviews and was really surprised by how ordinary the food was. It felt like a subpar overpriced restaurant you'd find in a tourist area. We are vegetarians so maybe the meat dishes are better. For starters we had the parmasian fondue, which was the only good item of the night. We also had burrata which had so much vinegar we couldn't even finish it. For mains, we had the eggplant parmigiana which tasted like a frozen microwave dinner and the lemon risotto daily special which tasted like arroz con leche as it was so sweet and milky. This restaurant wasn't awful, but I've had much better food at a pub for a third of the price. The presentation was nice but the flavors were underwhelming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place does not deserve to be in Michelin guide. The only thing good about food was the presentation, they visually look good, but taste wise it was well below average. We had various meet and vegetable plates as starters, and sea bass and parmigiana di melanzane and as desert we had lemon cake and tiramisu.
Parmigiana di melanzane was so dry, with no sauce, it was like a very low quality super market ready-meal, same goes for lemon cake as well, they call it cake but it was not a cake, it was a very low quality lemon pie, tiramisu was okay because it was full of cream. Presenting food in small portions and with good presentation should’t be enough to put you in Michelin guide.
Not only the food but also the cleanliness, the waitress dropped the cutlery on the floor and continued to use it to be served to customers. This place was a total disappointment in many ways.. this place made me question the requirements of the Michelin guide…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Michelin mentioned Italian restaurant in Haarlem! If you are looking for something other than the traditional pizza and pasta, you should visit ‘La Forca’. All dishes are prepared in accordance to the Italian food philosophy with really high quality ingredients. The owner presented us the specialities with such excitement and detail, you could really see the attention given to every dish in word and in flavor. He is so attentive to the visitor’s needs, that he even made sure to serve a dish that we were sharing in two plates instead of one. This kind of hospitality is greatly appreciated in the Netherlands (especially as a Greek expat). Don’t skip desert, an excellent lemon-cake is waiting for you.
