Did a barista workshop with my wife at Larissa. Great experience and learned a lot. Dissecting an espresso, roasting beans, frothing milk and even making hearts. In short, educational and fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bij La Jeu hebben mijn partner en ik, samen met Larissa, de koffie workshop gedaan. Sindsdien heeft de betekenis van koffieliefhebber een andere betekenis voor ons gekregen. Het hele traject van koffieboer tot de gemalen koffieboon in je kopje koffie besproken. Je kunt het kopje koffie als start van de dag beter waarderen en goede koffiebonen helpen hierin duidelijk bijdragen. De workshop heeft ons nieuwe inzichten gegeven en het beeld verder verbreed. Larissa, gepassioneerd ondernemer, heeft ons meegenomen in de reis van het koffieproduct. Daarnaast zijn we zelf aan de slag gegaan met (een begin van) latte art, hoe maken we de perfecte melkschuim inclusief het aanbrengen van een figuurtje op de creme. Een aanrader voor iedereen die wil niet alleen zijn kennis, maar ook zijn bewustzijn, wilt verbreden in het dagelijks product voor ons allemaal - koffie.
At La Jeu, my partner and I, together with Larissa, did the coffee workshop. Since then, the meaning of coffee lover has taken on a different meaning for us. Discussed the entire process from coffee farmer to the ground coffee bean in your cup of coffee. You can better appreciate the cup of coffee as the start of the day and good coffee beans clearly contribute to this. The workshop has given us new insights and further broadened the picture. Larissa, passionate entrepreneur, took us on the journey of the coffee product. In addition, we started working with (a beginning of) latte art, how do we make the perfect milk foam, including applying a figure to the cream. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to broaden not only his knowledge, but also his awareness, in the daily product for all of us - coffee.

She takes you on a very complete journey through coffee that involves coffee history, plantation methods, different kinds of coffee beans and finally, coffee cupping and the art of making the perfect capuccino. I am still amazed about how much knowledge she was able to share with us in such an enjoyable way. If you are interested in getting conscious about what it takes to make a good cup of coffee, this is your workshop! Thank you La Jeu for making me enjoy coffee even more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee place, where the owner and staff will talk you through the options for your coffee at the bar or to take with you. Very picturesque place, located in an old coffee burner shop. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Den Bosch. Also, the workshops are fantastic, whether you really want to learn how to make coffee, or just a great evening out.
