β β β β β I give one star because you can't give less. They don't even deserve one star. It is the worst agency I've ever had to deal with. They seems nice at the beginning, when you have to sign the contract and pay a lot of money, but then, they don't care about the tenants anymore. I spent the past 8 months (maybe even more) stressing them to fix serious problems in the apartment I am renting through them. They either ignore my emails and requests, or just being very superficial in the maintenance works. They now started to take some action only because I threatened them to call a lawyer and stop paying the rent. But not sure they will actually fix everything very soon. Moreover, most of the servicemen who come to check the apartment are very arrogant and incompetent, and they some time treated me like I was just a stupid girl who doesn't understand what they are talking about. Before renting an apartment with them, be aware that they are very unprofessional. They only care about money and nothing else.

β β β β β They put the "landlord" in "why people hate landlords" :)! Gone as soon as your money is theirs, ridiculous processing fees, months if not years of waiting on repairs and poorly feigning innocence here in the reviews. Avoid at all costs!

β β β β β Unfortunatelly I had a very bad experience with the this company in Leiden at the time of arriving in the Netherlands. They charged expensive fees for a very poor service and there was a complete lack of support from them and their partner company in charge of the apartment maintenance. Not recommendable.

β β β β β Worst company ever, when they have your money they don't care about you anymore. We are living in a place through living today for 6 months now and still have no emergencies exit, no fresh air, no shared space, no normal stairs(the stairs from the builders are there from wooden plates) and the intercom still doesn't work. Me and all people who live here think we live in a joke! I'm am definitely gone imidiately after our 1 year contract is over because we expected much more than we got out of it and we pay plenty money.

β β β β β After we signed the contract and move in the apartment, they dont reply anymore. We dont have information of our service costs. Building complex very poor condition, no lights in the garbage room, smells all over the place, slow elevators. Even flooded once and they dont do anything. On the other hand the apartment werent delivered painted and they promised to take out a shower stul and the hand bar from the previous tenant. They never came back again.

β β β β β UPDATE: After I moved in, about ~1 year later, the service was just really bad and kept getting worse. In the end, I only got half my security deposit back. I was charged for so many things that didn't make sense and/or wasn't even put in the inspection report. If you are an expat, beware! They seem to take advantage of this.

My experience has been nothing but positive. A woman named Leonie helped me get my apartment and she was very friendly, willing to discuss details of the contract, responded quickly to my emails, and even got my apartment completely furnished even though it was originally not listed as furnished! My washing machine was broken and someone immediately came to try and fix it. They could not repair it, so I received a new washing machine within days.
It's obvious from the previous posts that not everyone at this company are helpful. I'd suggest working with someone like Leonie if you want to have a better experience.

Whenever you need something from them it will take as long as possible.
Maintenance company Service Today the same. Applied for maintenance some time a go nobody responded. Besides that I Had to wait a month till they fixed windows that were not closing, outside wind breaking trees and response was - we will check our priorities and then we will contact you.
Deposit is paid back within 3 months. In my case and probably many others as well it will take till the last dayβs.
Always read your rental agreement entirely.

β β β β β I have rented an appartment via Living Today in the period of 2012 - 2016. The 'bemiddelingskosten' they charged was one month of rent excluding VAT. When an issue was raised the response was very poor and slow. I personally have witnessed this company sends invoices which are not correct. In the end we got the full amount of 'bemiddelingskosten' back by insisting on the fact this charge was not valid and against the law.
