As I am not Dutch it could have been potentially intimidating trying to arrange the required paperwork, but this was made easy for me. Nik was my primary agent who was easily contactable during my tenancy, but has also been helpful since my tenancy expired in regards to referencing for properties outwith Leiden.

Nik offered to help us and the next few days he was super hardworking: we contacted him on Wednesday, scheduled a few viewings and on Friday evening (after RE/MAX working hours!) he called us that he found the apartment. We received a completely prepared rental contract already on Saturday! Beyond all this help, we appreciate his friendly attitude during email, call and personal communication which was reducing our stress from the search because we felt to be and indeed were in the hands of a rental professional. After this experience, we can highly recommend service provided by RE/MAX Leiden and especially Nik Romson.

At Remax the two real estate agents are in name independent, but share the same office, maybe desks next to each other. How can they be independent?

Robrecht is friendly, always ready to answer to our Million expat questions. He understand the market very well and he understood very quickly what we were looking for (even better than ourselves). As a matter of facts, the house that we now happily own was suggested by him (we overlooked on funda). Many thanks Robrecht !
