★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lola Luid is the most amazing place in Nieuw-West. The former schoolbuilding is transformed into a pop-up mall. There is a lunchroom, several designer, vintage, clothing and food stores, a gallery, yoga classes and much more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought this was a 'pop-up' restaurant but it turns out to contain much more. All sorts of little local initiatives house here as well as a daycenter for refugees. The restaurant 'monsieur.dame' offers great food and has a small and very dedicated and enthusiastic staff. The site was formerly a school and the school's aula is where restaurant guests are seated; a very cosy space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, i felt very welcome. I had a coffee with a peace of cake in the hall (that was incredible!). After that we walked arround the building. Some great artist located here. I bought a very nice old chair in the second hand shop.
