On top of offering a great selection of always delicious, generously served, varied healthy and fresh plates; the adorable couple of owners are always friendly, caring and very professional. I eat there at least once a month for almost 8 years and is still thrilled to go every time! Thank you for your great service! Highly recommended!

β β β β β This is the only place we go for chinese food. We don't even live in Amsterdam! The owners and hosts are extremely friendly and attentive. They remember who their clients are and what their food preferences are. They quality of their food is amazing and they are very clean. You can see them working in the kitchen and they are very clean and serve fresh food. We love them and would recommend them highly.

β β β β β Super tasty food, staff is kind and quick, very reasonable prices and many vegetarian options (though I had the sweet and sour deep fried pork which was delicious). Also best jasmin tea I've ever had, not bitter at all :) - highly recommended restaurant!!

β β β β β Tucked away in the outskirts of the Jordaan, one could quite easily walk past this restaurant with its unpretentious exterior and be totally unaware as to its existence; That would be a pity because Lucky House is a true gem. Step inside and this family run operation is a hive of activity.
Although it is possible to sit down and have a meal, the majority of the clientele come for takeaway meals for which this establishment has a deservedly excellent reputation.
There is a good size open plan kitchen where you can observe your orders being prepared for you.
The "Lucky House " concept is based on the centuries old street food of South-East Asia and features a variety of very reasonably priced wok dishes and specialities such as roasted Peking duck.
The staff are friendly and attentive. Sadly, the place is closed on Saturdays, but everyone deserves a day off.

β β β β β Great restaurant for dining or take-out. Chinese-Indonesian cuisine, which is quite common in the Netherlands, but will be unlike any Chinese restaurants that tourists are familiar with. Brought over by Chinese that had been living in Indonesia, much like the Hakka cuisine of Chinese from India. It features many Indonesian dishes, like gado-gado (vegetables with peanut butter sauce), babi pangang (fried pork), atjar (aΓ§ar/achar, sweet ans sour cabbage with curcuma), bami goreng (fried noodles with Indonesian spices) and satΓ© (grilled meat on skewers with peanut butter sauce). Also of course many Chinese dishes.
