★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The procedure of renting is very unsafe. They wanted a payment before seeing the contract or the apartament. Not sure if scam or just very unwise politic of the company. Didn't rent after they insisted on paying and sending copies of idies without the contract rules. After th mail where i asked about terms they started being rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It can be a little overwhelming coming from out of the country (US in our case) and trying to find an apartment for your child who will be studying in Rotterdam. The challenges are increased by the fact that there is much more demand than supply for apartments. We had a hard time getting anyone in real estate to return our calls. James was amazing. He found great properties for us and then really walked with us as we went through the process of connecting power, registering with town hall, etc. I was probably what you would call a very demanding customer. Calling and texting James at all hours and multiple times a day. James was always responsive and helpful. THANKS!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible and unprofessional communication.
Zero commitment to maintenance even though according to our contract we should always contact them if something is wrong, rather than arranging it ourselves...One of our toilet's has been broken for 8 months and we have had no running water due to a broken boiler for 2 months.
In those cases we finally get contact with the agent (after many unsuccessful attempts to reach out via email, texts or phone calls) we have repeatedly received empty promises and what seem to be fake mechanics which consistently need to "go to the store and buy some tool or part" but never return to the house again.
All this on top of a completely overpriced house for which the agency STRONGLY urged us to sign up as a 'woongroup' with the Gemeente "in order for us not to get a fine". Later we discovered that, that was merely a way for the agency to be able to charge us more than reasonable for the house and we were never in danger of a fine.
