β β β β β The service was very fast, but unfortunately I was not able to get my desired drink. The service told me, that it's not possible to make them anyway, on a Saturday evening at 11pm? :/ Oh well, the food was good though :)

β β β β β Food aside, I find this McDonald's to be a bit crowded for my enjoyment. The self-service kiosks are crammed in near the seating area and there's little space around them to form a line on busy evenings. Food-wise it's the same as any other McD (obviously).

β β β β β In a moment of homesickness, I stopped for fries. The place was overflowing with trash. Service was OK, ish. Cashier/manager clearly bored but the lady in food prep was upbeat. The fries were the same fries you get at any McDonald's, and were hot and somewhat fresh, so that was OK. Overall, I got the impression that it was trying to live down to its reputation. Sad, really.

β β β β β Nice place to eat, a little too small to my liking, especially during COVID, the stairs were closed so nobody could eat upstairs. Food was quickly served.
Edit:
Today i met the manager and he was interacting with customers in a good way, talking about their interests in food and asking if everything was as expected. Went from a 4-star review to a 5-star.

β β β β β I visit this Mcdonaldβs in Amersfoort couple times per year since 2012. But today I was very surprised how dirty tables on the 1st floor were. I mean I just had my dirtiest McD experience ever. :)
Most of the tables upstairs were free when I got there but I couldnβt find the place to sit cause all had food remains left by other customers on them. When I told manager about the problem, he asked someone to clean a table for me. And she did it. By cleaning only one table.
Leaving french fries on top of the bench. ))
And leaving all other tables uncleaned...
I understand that McD is not an expensive restaurant, but it was really too much. )
I also admire how tolerant Dutch people are.
They noticed dirt on the tables but unlike me they didnβt complain to a manager :)

β β β β β A very good fast food outlet in comparison to the KFC and Burger King that are also close by. Asked for vegetarian options, the staff was very helpful, spent a good few minutes explaining the tofu burger. They also have a good vegetarian salad. Sitting area is very comfortable, though could've been a little cleaner. Burger was fresh and crispy with soft bun.
