β β β β β Friday 27 of August 2021 5h40 pm. I Selected few items to buy and went to the Media market Utrecht, went politely to the cashier, said hello sorry I don't speak dutch. The cashier seemed to be upset by the fact that I do not speak dutch, and replied in English that she does not speak English and that I have to speak dutch and why she should speak English... I replied simply because you are in an open country, living in the 21st century and that not the entire 8 billion living on the planet have to speak dutch... I left my purchases with her and left. The most surprising thing that the manager was behind her listening and did not at any point interfere or apologise Seriousely!!! What an era we are living in

β β β β β Watch out for phone subscription contracts! I have tried to cancel my order for a new subscription, but it has been a long time, I have been informed that Media Markt has no rules as long as it may take to cancel my upgrade. It could be a week, a year or even 20 years! I recommend going directly to T mobile, Vodafone ect, otherwise you are blocked from signing a new contract for a long time with your telecommunications provider. No more Media Markt!

β β β β β Donβt come here for Customer Service or picking up Amazon packages. Either nobody is there to help you, the organization of the lines are messy and people cut lines, or youβre waiting in line for over 20 minutes at the front with no help at all. Iβve had deliveries returned to the sender because itβs difficult to get service here! Itβs pretty ridiculous, especially when you have the same issues after the fourth attempt.
At most, Iβll see four people working and they all focus their time checking out orders for customers on the other side. If possible, go to a different MediaMarkt location!
