T	Tjeerd Warringa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monument voor de Dordtse schilder, tekenaar en prentmaker Albert Cuyp (1620-1691). Cuyp staat bekend als meester van licht, lucht, water en landschap. Het beeld heeft wat menselijks door de schoenen en de vormgeving van de bollen. Het is onbekend hoe Cuyp er in werkelijkheid uit heeft gezien. Daarom haalde beeldhouwer Maria Roosen inspiratie uit het werk van Cuyp. De weerspiegelende bollen reflecteren het licht, de lucht en de stad Dordrecht waar Cuyp bekend om staat. Monument to the Dordrecht painter, draftsman and printmaker Albert Cuyp (1620-1691). Cuyp is known as a master of light, air, water and landscape. The image has something human because of the shoes and the design of the spheres. It is unknown what Cuyp actually looked like. That is why sculptor Maria Roosen drew inspiration from Cuyp's work. The reflective spheres reflect the light, the sky and the city of Dordrecht for which Cuyp is known.
