Mooizo Jordaan - Nieuwe Leliestraat 32

Ik raad deze winkel af. Ik kwam kleren brengen en ik werd onaardig behandeld. De verkoopster had een onaardige toon en toen ik daar op een kalme manier wat van zei antwoordde ze met "'Jij gaat het héél moeilijk ga krijgen in het leven'.

I am highly not recommending this second hand and consignment store. It's located on Nieuwe Leliestraat, about a 5 minute walk from Ann Frank House in the Jordan district. I am definitely not a fan of Mooizo. I had a lot of unnecessary clothes, shoes and accessories that I was not using, but was just too fabulous to give a way so easily. Somethings still with the tags on it. I am not happy with this shop because they are amazingly unprofessional, sold my expensive clothes and could not give me an accurate price for what they sold my items for and stole a lot from me. Also stole some of my items, as well. Their administrative work is beyond unprofessional and horrible! Double check the items that they take from you, because they will document it the wrong way or shorten you. Although she is documenting it, also make sure you are too in front of her, because she will try to rip you off.I use to come here all the time and for some reason the owner tried to insult my intelligence, by cheating me out of my money and items. Mooizo in Jordan on a consignment shop level is super shady and unprofessional. Business who intentionally steal from their clients deserve to receive a big fine. Rule of thumb, only take your items to shops that can show your account online, which means you can see online what items were sold from their shop and for how much. You can also from the beginning save on a pdf the prices that they created. I will no longer deal with business that document my things on some lame sheet of paper. How elementary is that...Why because they can always lie for how much they sold your items and lie about what you gave them. Despite this shop stealing and being dishonest about the entire situation, I tried to be as diplomatic and calm about the matter by just accepting i was robbed. My philosophy for people who steal and lie, it eventually catches up with you, so at the end no one wins from that behavior. I wish that i would have taped it all to present their true identity.

Left merchandise in the store to sell. (Already noticed that owner treats you differently if you come to claim your money from the attitude she shows when you want to buy something). After looking into papers, first she couldn't remember and suddenly she came up with a specific story of an NGO she donated the merchandise to ...and then to talk about wrong merchandise! No mechanism in place to check as a customer whether the your stuff has been sold or donated. I didn't believe the story. Unreliable, will never go there again.

After having read the utterly negative review prior to mine I couldn't keep myself from wanting to write about my experiences with this store. I've been going to Mooi Zo for over a year now, and I must say that I can honestly not think of a reason why I wouldn't want to continue doing that. The staff is perfectly qualified, and gives you the advice that best suits your needs. It's always busy, which is to your advantage to get your items sold. I've brought in more items than I can recall, and I've always been treated with kindness and respect. Every item you bring in is listed, and either returned to you after the expiration date, or donated to charity. Even though things were a little slow in the beginning when it comes to sales, they've now taken off in a way that's more than satisfying to me. To date, every item I've brought in has either been sold, or returned to me in its original state. No exception. Obviously if you look for a reason to nag, you will find one. But that is the case with all things in life. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this store to anyone who wants their clothes and accessories passed on professionally to other people who also appreciate quality fashion.

It's a shame I read a horrible review! I am a very satisfied customer.....on the purchasing end though! I find the owner and other workers very customer friendly, patient and reliable. I go there to buy stuff every three months and I am never disappointed. Those of you who are dissatisfied should express them and I am sure they will be receptive enough to take your proposals. I have been recommending mooizo to friends and family now for the past three years.

I heard amazing things about thrift stores in Amsterdam, but was really disappointed when I got there and didn’t understand what the hype was about, everything just seemed ridicculously expensive! Then on my last day, I stumbled upon this store and was pleasantly surprised when I found a piece I liked for an acceptable price before even entering the store. I payed 9€ for a top I would probably pay about 6€ for back home in Prague, but that is still much better than the price tags I saw in all other stores there. I give it 4 stars because of the higher price, but this was still the best second hand store out of the approximately 10 I visited in Amsterdam.

Beautiful quarter in Amsterdam! Definetly worth visiting and roaming around?
