β β β β β I can't say enough positive things about this place - you need to go and see it yourself and meet Jeroen the owner to fully appreciate it.
It's got a really relaxed atmosphere and a huge collection of bikes from 1982 onwards with loads and loads of unusual stuff that I haven't seen anywhere else. In addition it has shower facilities and would be a great place to meet up after a ride. There's also some useful bits and bobs for sale in case you need to fix up your bike and some souvenirs and other nicknacks too.
Best of all it is completely FREE - donations are completely optional.

β β β β β Ride straight back into the history of mountainbiking and how it evolved to be one of today's most popular outdoor sports. Check the clunkers, drool over the ultra lightweight supercool parts, smile at the engineering fails and technological successes that lead to how present day mtb's work. Enjoy the enthusiastic stories the founder will most likely throw at you for an hour or so. Finally, relax, glad that now you finally understand what moves these mtb people and -after a drink and snack- mount a bike to fly down the trails that run in the woods, a stone's throw from the museum, annex trail centre. Highly recommended!

β β β β β Our bikes were in really good shape. The track is good. Plus as a woman, I very much appreciate the possibility to take a shower inside of the building. And the price is very low compared to the great service we got. Thank you, Jeroen!

β β β β β Went here after walking through Park Zypendaal. Super friendly owner who took time to explain how the museum came about and what he is trying to do with the collection. So many interesting bikes that I have never seen before. Great step through the history of these bikes.
Well worth stopping in here if you are in the area. I didn't have time to enjoy the bike trails close by in this occasion. Lots of other people were stopping in for coffee and apple cake and also to use the changing facilities. Hope I can go back there again one day.
