★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful surroundings. The 'Oranjewoud' is a lovely place to go for a stroll in Frys nature. Inside the staff was very friendly and helpful, highly recommend the 'Bieterballen', vegetarian bitterballen!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely art gem in the middle of Friesland. The building consists of two wings coupled by a see through restaurant over a canal. Because of this intelligent architecture the museum blends into the landscape. One wing of the museum holds the permanent collection of contemporary (1980 - onwards) art. In the other wing you will find temporary exhibitions. If the art is not your thing you will certainly enjoy a walk around the acres and acres of land surrounding the museum.

Staff very friendly.
Beautiful windows & view in cafe inside.
Park behind is beautiful ♥️
