Hij weet ook de kinderen erg te boeien. Dat alles in een huiselijke sfeer. Very nice exhibition with oddities from nature. A very enthusiastic Klaas Nanninga has led us past everything, full of interesting stories. He also knows how to fascinate the children. All in a homely atmosphere.

It's a particularly well-designed museum with a wide variety of hand-made specimens. A very, very nice family that runs it. It is very worth coming here?!

From the outside, it looks like a normal house but from the inside it is full of 6 rooms stuffed with taxidermy, skeletons, and other fascinating objects. The owner (a retired enthusiastic sweet biologist) gave a personal tour and had a interesting story with every single object. The tour went on even inside his own living room where he had shells of beautiful animals like a narwal horn, deepseefish, large bats, and whale fetus. He confirmed that all animals were all legally required, and I believe that considering his love for animals. The cost of the entry was way too cheap, so please tip him.

The host is knowledgable and passionate, as well as truly interested in hearing from us visitors on what we want to know about the collection. Absolutely worth the visit, I'd recommend to all with any interest in natural history or the animal world.
