Not the authentic and healthy middle eastern cuisine I was hoping for. Instead falafel made from corn instead of the healthy chickpeas, liquidy tahini with soya, fried instead of roasted eggplant, sauses instead of the healthy olive oil. Service was not great either. The restaurant supervisor was being difficult when I ordered a well-done steak.

We ordered a menu with drinks for New Years and the food was amazing. Unfortunately we really didn’t like the cocktails that came with the menu. Very very strong whiskey flavor, which is not for everyone and also not for us. On New Years I kind of expected something sparkly and light. Still enjoyed our order though and we’ll be back for the food :)

Went there with a big group of friends. The staff was friendly. They actually open doors an hour before their usual time only for us. They also provided us a private space and created a personalized menu for us. Drinks were also good. It's slight expensive but you also get good food and personalized service.

Amazing food for reasonable prices. Very nice to share with a group. We just had some entrees (and of course dessert) to share and it was plenty and soooo good!

We had lunch in this restaurant. The menu is short but it’s because they cook everything fresh in front of you. Everything was delicious. Very tasty. We loved it and we’ll be back soon !

Disappointed, from almost all aspects. The service was chaotic, servers had nice attitude but distracted, forgetful and just not listening to our questions on the menu and dishes. Drinks, my ice tea from the bar came before a red wine that the server poured from a bottle near a station by our table. Not all our drinks were brought, even if we asked multiple times they forgot but they were on the bill, so had to have them correct it. The food, not bad, but not anything special nor unique... I dont get the hype... The prices (for the quality and amounts) were quite high. We had the vegetarian menu, we wanted to try many dishes. Unfortunately almost every dish was either hummus based, with lots tahini or yogurt (labneh was more yogurt consistency than labneh), or mushy (maybe fried) eggplant. No variations in consistencies of the dishes and similar spices on everything. I was really looking forward to the mushroom dish but again, it was mostly hummus. The coconut dessert was not very tasty. So for several plates of hummus and some vegetables and a few small salads.. (In all vegetarian dishes most ingredients are cheap), I could spend less than 50 euro per person (w only 1 glass wine for 1 person) and be more satisfied. The place is nice, but all the tables are really close to eachother, it is super loud and it felt like they were trying to go for quantity not quality. The sourdough bread was really good. Sad but true...

Visited NENI Amsterdam as a group of 4 (2 of 4 were vegetarians). Was originally planning for a 3/5 as a series of events occured (alarm going out for quite some time didn’t help - also staff mentioned that the kitchen would close early since there was a staff party planned (we weren’t informed about it beforehand) - plus a couple of times the dishes took around 20-30mins to arrive in our surprise, since the waiting stuff informed us at the beginning that the dishes are coming generally very fast!). But on second thought I can understand that sometimes these things are bound to happen - so I took this experience out of my rating, concluding to a 4/5. The menu was tasty and there were plenty of vegetarian options, overall nice combinations and indeed got that eastern mediteranean feeling with food. The desserts were amazing though (kudos to chef!) but apart from that, there were no other major surprises (in either a good or bad way). Would visit again with other guests to try out some more dishes. Cheers!

Overall good concept of middle eastern mezze. The portion sizes looked small, but the dishes are filling enough (except if you’re big eater). Down side with take away is that the dishes will be cooled down and with the fresh/raw ingredients you cannot really heat it up at home. The pita and sourdough bread were really nice, the lamb dish was my least favorite because it was too dry. All in all, would like to try again when served fresh in the restaurant.
