Zet je lieve moeder extra in het zonnetje door haar te trakteren op een heerlijke hartjestaart of neem haar mee voor een gezellige high tea bij een van onze Baker's Cafés!

A	Alexandru Techeres on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to have brunch. The sandwiches were both very tasty but in my opinion the price was a bit high for what you get. Service was good and staff was friendly. We also bought bread (focaccia) for take-out and was delicious!

She was pushy while receiving our order, couldn't wait at all and came back every few minutes to ask if we want to order something else, without smile. She was not attentive too, when I asked salt and pepper she replied: cappuccino? This place is also NOT CHILD FRIENDLY at all. My daughter was not allowed to have her own bread and drink. FYI we ordered lunch and three drinks here, not that we wanted to have a free picnic table. Terrace was quiet too. I have never had this issue before in Amsterdam, even dining in a restaurant. They always allow us to bring our food for the little one. I suggest you hire someone who has a sense of service and who's willing to work. Such a shame for this nice place!

It's a different concept, we also questioned on how to pay at the end and gentleman explained how money being dirty therefore touching it would impact food quality. Makes a lot of sense. I would give them 10 stars if I could. As for price, I picked out bakers special and got a lot of different breads, jams, and ordered an egg on the side. Had a pleasant experience and food was delightful. Clean place and service was good.

k	kevin4r on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a bread fanatic and this is one of my favorite place to buy bread. They have a good variety of bread with different grains and ferments. And the bread is not just better then in AH but also cheaper. Try it out. I always leave the place with 3,4 types of bread.

Update Aggressive and unprofessional service, delicious coffee and pastries, the place is clean ... Too bad this is the waiter's conduct. We will drink our coffee at the other three places in the square.

The croissant was super bready/dense and tasted old, like I had gotten it from the grocery store and left it in my pantry for too long. The filling was nice but I don't think I'll come here again :(
