β β β β β The climb up the tower was not really enjoyable. But the view at the top of the tower on a good day is well worth the 4.5 euros entrance fee. You get to see the surrounding and even Rotterdam from the top.

β β β β β Lots to see here! Visit the tower for wonderful views and terrifying stairs! It also has the gentleman who invented this country, he seems nice.

β β β β β 8 euros admission to visit the New Church and its bell tower, as well as the Old Church, absolutely worth it! It is very well preserved and very respectful to their history, it made quite an impression on us. You can climb up the bell tower , it gives you a great view ( it is worth the trouble). It was a wonderful experience in Delft .

β β β β β Although called the Nieuwe Kerk (Church), this church is centuries old having construction dating back to the fourteenth century. Purchasing one ticket gives you entry to both churches.
Two notable things about this church.
1. The crypt. Like the Oude Kerk (Old Church, built a 1000 years ago), this church has graves spread out inside the church. But, the interesting part is that the church houses a crypt where members of the royal family are laid to rest. It's a weird feeling. It's a graveyard and a church at the same time. You can't go into the crypt, but you can stand outside it and watch videos of it played on the big screen.
2. The tower climb. This 380-steps-odd climb along a mix of narrow wooden and stone spiral stairwells will lead you to a fantastic panaromic view of the city of Delft. From here, you'll be able to appreciate the red roofed houses and buildings lining the canals. You can even see Den Haag from the topmost tower.

β β β β β Really beautiful church with a very well laid out series of displays and videos that tell you the history of Delft, the church and famous people buried within.
The highlight for my kids was the church tower all 376 narrow winding steps of it. 376 was validated by my 11 year old daughter as she counted every single one.
The views at the 3/4 point and at the top are worth the climb. I highly recommend the combo ticket that gets you the old church, new church and the church tower.
